Interventions into the degenerative aging process are still only in their infancy.

Ilia Stambler is awesome. Extremely knowledgeable.

Interesting. I have however read different things from other sources that indicate that muscle mass (and thus, ways to gain muscle mass, which requires higher protein consumption) increases the quality of life during later age (reduces the risk of alzheimer iirc). Which goes counter the calorie/protein restriction as often suggested by transhuman sources. (Well, not counter calorie restriction, but often enough protein is seen as a bad macro nutrient in H+).

So I’m wondering about that. Which is the ‘correct’ path? Calorie/protein restriction, and waste away some muscle, or try to increase the muscle mass with more damage from increased protein consumption.

Balance, as in everything, is key.

What’s really gonna bake your noodle later on, however, is: what exactly that ‘correct’ Discordia Concors truly is. The Queen of Sciences proud herself on finding it, we’re still figuring it out.
