    We still need a Plan B to try to keep people alive, and that is cryopreservation for those unlucky to die before we can cure aging.

    Work hard now and get ready. For when de Grey & CIA begin to bring ever more amazing results from the lab, in early to mid 20’s, and it starts to dawn on people age is about to finally be defeated, you’ll have more baby-boomers on your hands than you can handle. That’s when your business will boom, so to speak. And yes, even govmnts may follow the Spanish model of insurance you mention and try to mitigate/avert economic collapse by granting cryonics until the aforementioned therapies can break even and/or work on older folks safely.


    KrioRus has managed to cryopreserve 50 humans, 8 dogs, 7 cats …

    Now this is some false advertising, they haven’t managed to revive any of those animals so you cannot really call them cryptopreserved yet.
    It’s possible that process that they are using causes some irreversible damage and can be called preservation only in same sense as mummification is.
