Love it, the idea of a git/versioning for physical objects.
What it brings home is that objects are products of ecologies of technologies, and botstrapping is a viable strategy.
Can't wait for science competitions like iGEM for SKDB, or a hackday where SKDB is populated with the components of a OSH object.
Think it will be an amazing engine for all kinds of OSH based enterprises.
Where are you going to start with definitions? Porting electric components?
