Engineer-inventor Douglas Hines adjusts the head of his company's "True Companion" sex robot, Roxxxy. Photo: AFPHank Hyena’s piece — Sexbots Will Give Us Longevity Orgasms — was one of our most popular pieces (damned surprising, huh?). Well, it didn’t take long. Roxxxy, a female sexbot wowed crowds at last week’s AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. According to her designer, Roxxxy "has a full C cup and is ready for action."

So it starts, of course, with a boy toy, which somewhat offends our sense of gender equality. Still, on a more pragmatic tip, there’s the ongoing field of "sex machines."They may not look human, but they work… and work… and work… and work… never tiring or needing Viagra. Sex Machines — as covered in the book Sex Machines — are largely build by men to please women, although all possible gender combinations contribute and take a piece of the action.

Meanwhile, the weirdest thing about this article I’m linking to? This line: "Inspiration for the sex robot sprang from the September 11, 2001 attacks, when planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon and an empty field in Pennsylvania." Huh?

Read it here.

Gitcher red hot pornbot here.

A popular topic indeed, and one which sadly has been far too entrenched in misogyny. Sexbots are a valuable tool for men and women alike, and I’m quite pleased to see their development and release to the public. While Roxxxy is a very simple forerunner of what is to come, the progress being made is amazingly rapid, and I expect to see a fully animatronic version in just a few years. Especially since I know Japan already is working on them, and adding Roxxxy’s capabilities to a couple of the models they have demoed recently would not be that hard to do.

Watching these developments over the nest few years will be interesting XD

Is that ALL you do, traverse the Internet, seeing misogymy in EVERYTHING.

This is the third time you have been shrieking about misogyny, on three unrelated blogs.

You are a transvestite. Get your own psychology in order before labeling other people as this or that.

    Sheesh.
