The robot is shoebox sized and guided by GPS. Photo credit: BBCMost of the time, the shoebox-sized robot – which is being developed for the US military – uses its four wheels to get around.

But the Precision Urban Hopper can use a piston-actuated "leg" to launch it over obstacles such as walls or fences.

The key here is saving lives in the future. These robots can go places that are in harms way keeping our soldiers away from trouble. Primarily, they can check out the terrain for road side bombs and any other materials that can cause injury or death. If a robot blows up running over a mine or road side bomb you build a new robot. The life of a human being has been spared. Anything that goes in to the planning of these robots is OK with me. casino en ligne

I agree with benjamin in that the positive point of these robots are that they can be sent ahead to scope out a situation and determine whether or not it is safe for humans to apporach. lets look at the side of robot armies turning against mankind later!
